You are being invited to attend SJPMBA Blue Jays’ COVID 2020 Fall Baseball Season.
Fall Ball will be open in combination for all 11U, 13U, 15U, and 18U players. Our goal is to get as much baseball in as long as the weather in Edmonton will allow. As Alberta has not entered Phase 3 of the Relaunch Strategy at this time, all the same rules and procedures remain in place to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
When: Tuesday and Thursday @ TBD, Saturday @TBD; Game schedule TBD by Baseball Alberta**
Where: Callingwood Diamonds and/or John Fry Diamonds
Fee: $150
Current SJP players from the 2020 COVID Season can start play as early as September 1.
New cohort players will start TBD.
Important COVID Information for Fall Ball:
- Wherever possible, current cohorts in be kept in place. This will allow for anyone currently on a team to continue practicing. For teams where the summer cohort opponent teams remain the same, these teams can also continue playing games (permitting having the numbers).
- Any players that are joining the cohort for the first time must take the mandatory 14 day break from any other baseball cohort. Example: players participating with SEEBA must wait 14 days from their last activity with a SEEBA team before joining an SJP Fall cohort. This also applies to any players that wish to change age groups (ie: 2nd year 13U player that wants to play 15U for the fall season).
- Unfortunately, due to Alberta Health recommendations, we cannot allow players to participate in our Fall Ball program if they are also participating in other sports (hockey, soccer, etc). Please note, this also applies to players that are part of a baseball academy.
** Practice timing may be subject to change with notice as we start to head into Fall season.
